Yuiko's recent journeys

This is going to be a short sum up for now as it's pretty late in the eve. So to start at the beginning. I was born...wait...too far back. Ok I'll start with joining Castaways. that's as good a start as any.
A few weeks ago Breezey convinced me to leave the guild I was in. I was unhappy there anyway. People in that guild were rude and vulgarer. So I spoke to Sharya via whispers. He had already known of me from Breezey as well as Shir. That made it easier. Anyway after talking for awhile I got sent the guild invite and I started the real fun.
Everyone in Castaways made me feel at home from day one. No matter how silly the question seemed I got an answer and was offered help if needed. Trust me it was needed alot. I've learned alot from these guys. I appreciate it greatly and hope they know it.
Now to stray a bit away from Castaways and onto a Hunter I met during my mid 50's, Cascius. We grouped up together in Felwood. We hit it off from the start. Even though he managed to lvl a bit faster then I we continued to group together often. We were able to help each other out with quests as well as just keep each other company. Made the tedious duty of leveling more fun. We both hit 70. I was spending more time with Castaways at this point but trying to include him in as much as possible. It's nice to be apart of things and not left out.
He had shown some interest in joining the guild so I spoke with Sharya and passed along the information as well as his name. Low and behold awhile later we had an incoming new member. Spectacular! Cascius had a home as well.
Now to jump ahead a bit Since turning 70, I've run Kara with them now twice. So much fun! Can't wait to do it again next week. I've gone through Slave Pens, Hellfire Cit., MGT, as well as a few others with them. Mainly with Philia leading the way.
I've been asked to run TK, which at the time I declined. I was very very ungeared as well as still extremely green to all of the end game content. Still learning but now have more to work with under my belt.
Now to jump onto another subject. While doing Invasion runs I was picked up on a pug with a guy named and please forgive me if I spell it wrong, Xeraphim.I ran on the same group as him for several house hoping for my cloth legs to drop. They did...he won the roll. Hrmf! (I got them later that night. ;-p) While partied, we had to exchange and switch people out and in for several reasons. So Xera ran with a total of 4 members from Castaways that night. Myself, Cascius, Breezey and Sahrya. He seemed impressed with us and asked me about the possibility of joining the guild. I referred him to our website to read about it and see if we might be a likley fit for him. He did and got back to me. So I sent him Sharya's way. Sharya got on the group as I was leaving for a break. I came back and who do I see come in...Xera. Woot! Another one for me.
So to sum things up in this very poorly written blog post, I'm enjoying my time in WoW as well as greatly enjoying the new home and family I have in Castaways. Thanks guys for helping me through this when I didn't have anyone else. Thanks Breezey for doing as much for me as you have. You are a very dear friend to me. Cascius, thanks for keeping me company through many a craptastic quest. Sharya, Thank you for seeing enough potential in me to give me a chance to be apart of the family. Phil, Var and Till,Shar, thanks for dragging me along through the instances you have and talking me through them. To everyone in the guild thank you for being patient with me and for helping me and showing me the way.
Okay enough sappy stuff. It's time for some sleep.

Wow, Yuiko. Almost brought a tear to my eye, reading that. We're glad to have you home with us. And yes, some of us do read your blogs. ;-)
